Operator's Challenge <>Operations Challenge is NYWEA’s top showcase of the skills of wastewater collection and treatment personnel. The competition combines five equally weighed skills tests in the Collections, Laboratory, Maintenance, Process Control, and Safety events. David Cross, Steve Peletz, Steve Reiter, Todd Terran and alternate Ann Kupferschmid recently competed in the Operations Challenge at the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) Spring Technical Conference in Grand Island, NY. The top two teams from this Challenge will compete at WEFTEC against 40 teams from across the country. <>The team plans to compete at the Joint NYWEA/NEWEA 2006 Spring Technical Conference in Mystic, Connecticut.
